When 2020 hit, a lot of us suddenly had way more time on our hands and a lot of uncomfortable silence. I initially thought I was ready to forge ahead on my first album as Blue Wizard, but realized I no longer wanted to hide behind an alias. As I started working on remixes for other artists, I start taking risks and trying things I hadn't ever really tried with my own music, and started exploring a different sound. A little more pop. A little more folk. A lot more of me in the vocal, a lot less machine-y effects and processing to hide behind.

This left me with new versions of almost all of my songs, and new ideas of how I wanted to be seen, and delayed my plans to release an album called "The Dead Universe", which told the story of a hopeless lonely wizard who destroyed their own world while attempting to kill God, and instead wanted to tell the world who I am.

Where my Undead EP collects my music from 2019, The Truth collects 2020 as I continue to sort through and finish my favorite songs for my upcoming debut LP, "My Name Is Luin".
