Here's a single I have been dying to release! Production was slowed down by computer hardware issues on Disappear, and just plain perfectionism on Undisclosed Desires.

A cheerful music box and acoustic guitar accompaniment plays a sweet lullaby before a surging wave of abject existential horror obliterates the would-be sleeper's sweet dreams. Disappear speaks to a specific experience of mine totally unrelated to the isolation of covid shutdowns but should be familiar to many people who went through that all the same.

Undisclosed Desires, originally a Muse track, is easily my favorite love song of all time. It speaks to a kind of passionate, yearning, protective love that seeks nothing but peace and comfort for its recipient. The original never fully realized the passion that I hear in its words. I recorded the first version of this in 2018, intending it to be a simple 1 or 2 afternoon project to put my spin on Undisclosed Desires for a young lady who had stolen my heart. 5 years later, it has been rebuilt and re-recorded and re-sequenced. It's a cybernetic human heart built of the pieces of something monolithic that this world will never see again. This version is full of sweaty, looming machines grinding out a driving, sturdy construction with degraded, delicate sparkles of something was once more beautiful. Sweeping choirs lift the vacillating emotional intensity of the passionate vocals to the top level of a shrine built of broken things. What was once a love song became a way of extending a hand backwards in time to a younger, frightened version of me who couldn't ever imagine happiness and a sense of self existed in her future.

I am so excited that I am finally sharing these with the world!
